Perkasie, PA - On Saturday, April 13, 2024, members of the Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. (BGC)/Blooming Glen Quarry (BGQ) Team participated in the annual Adopt-A-Highway (AAH) beautification of a two-mile stretch of Minsi Trail between SR 113 and Rickert Road in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, PA. The team collected and disposed of 29 bags of trash, cans, bottles, tires, a stop sign, a drone and other collectibles. This marks the 29th year of participation for the BGC/BGQ team, demonstrating another successful cleanup effort to enhance the vitality of BGC/BGQ’s backyard.
The upkeep of the region’s roadways is directly related to the services BGC provides. As a regional leader in the heavy civil construction sector since 1971, we proudly lay the framework that keeps our region expanding and moving forward, completing projects ranging from interstate roadway systems to international airports. The AAH program saves taxpayers millions of dollars in cleanup costs and allows the state government to allocate transportation funds to other projects.
