Perkasie, PA - Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. (BGC) is proud to announce the acquisition of a brand-new, 2018 2WD/4WD John Deere™ 310SL HL backhoe. Considering our robust 2018 project backlog, BGC found it prudent to bring in new equipment that will increase the speed, efficiency and quality of the work performed on our jobsites. This 310SL has been lettered with the official BGC branding and is now ready for use.
Each piece of new equipment acquired by BGC plays a role in the overall productivity and value of the company. New-model machinery that is equipped with the latest and most efficient technology increases the efficiency of the work performed, creating a ripple effect of increased productivity throughout the entire jobsite. Project costs are therefore decreased, and work can be completed within a more expeditious timeframe.
The superior cooling and reduced oil breakdown of this 310SL backhoe lead to a longer equipment lifespan, negating the future need for BGC to acquire new equipment any earlier than necessary. The added safety implications of acquiring this L-Series model were also taken in account; the extra legroom in the pilot tower affords the operator additional space for transitioning between loader and backhoe operation. Not only does this increase the operator’s comfort, but it also allows BGC employees to safely dismount from their equipment.
